Whether you head for the slopes or not, a winter holiday with children offers multi-faceted experiences for all age groups. The fresh mountain air, the gentle crunch of the snow under your feet, moments of joy and laughter: The perfect ingredients for memories that will last. And after an active day out and about, get snug indoors and enjoy a hot chocolate or a game of cards together in the warm “Stuben”. The wellness area is also a true haven after a day in the cold: Adults will be able to get some peace and quiet, while the kids can make new friends in the playroom under professional supervision.
Fantastic family activities in the snow
Magical snowshoe hikes or exciting days on the slopes of the Ski Resort Sulden: Every member of the family will find the snow adventure that is right for them. Then there are the timeless family activities that winter has in store: building a snowman, getting into a snowball fight, enjoying a leisurely stroll through the snow-covered hills... The cold time of year is simply irresistible here. In the picturesque ski resort of Sulden am Ortler, children can learn how to ski and snowboard at their own pace. The Cevedale practice slope at the valley station of the cable car and Rosimbahn as well as the sunny stretch in the valley are perfect for taking those first swings. If you would like to improve your technique, the spacious, gentle panorama slopes on the Madritsch (accessible with the Sulden cable car) are the ideal choice. The experienced ski instructors of the Sulden ski school will gently steer the little ones in the right direction in the Kids park next to the cable car line. In addition to age-appropriate ski instruction, there is also the option of signing up your child to the ski kindergarten of the Sulden ski school (fee applies).
A special plus for families: If one parent purchases a ski pass, children up to the age of 5 will receive a free pass for the lifts and practice slopes in Sulden. Children up to the age of 14 are automatically included in the family ski pass.
Snowkids & Children's Sports Week
The SnowKids week of the Sulden ski school & cable car lines and the children’s week that follows it is a fantastic opportunity for young aspiring skiers to learn to ski or improve their technique. Watch your little ones proudly make their way down the slope, playfully improve their sense of balance and have lots of fun in the process!
