The most beautiful winter & snowshoe hikes in Sulden
Starting point: Hotel Die Post Sulden
Length: approx. 1.5 hours (easy)
Vertical metres: approx. 400
A picturesque trail winds its way through the forest, leading first to the forestry road, then further up to the pasture. From there, a breathtaking view of the Ortler and Königsspitze peaks and all the way to Schöntaufspitze opens up.
Tip: Take a well-deserved break at rustic Kälberalm before heading back to the hotel at your own pace.
Starting point: Hotel Die Post Sulden

The ascent leads through the winter forest along trail no. 12, winding its way up to the Kanzel. Once you get to the top, a spectacular view of the majestic peaks of the Sulden mountain world opens up. To head back, take the picturesque route along the same trail or opt for the lift.

Length: approx. 2.5 hours (easy)

Trail no. 3 starts out the old church of Sulden and leads up to the K2 hut on the Langenstein. The trail runs through a quiet valley, far from the busy slopes. From up there, just below the majestic Ortler, magnificent views across Zaytal valley open up. To head back, follow the same trail as for the ascent or opt for the chair lift.
